Breakfast time!

Like I mentioned over in my post on the main blog, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It kick starts your metabolism and give you fuel for the entire day.

Here's what I'm loving these days:

Egg white scrambles! Grab some egg whites, one whole egg, some veggies (I'm partial to onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms) throw it in the skillet and scramble it up! Top with a sprinkle of low fat or fat free cheese and you have a very tasty, very filling, low cal meal. Packed full of protien AND a serving or two of veggies.

Another great thing about this meal is how fast it is. Its nearly as fast as just pouring a bowl of cereal.

Filthy 50s and a Good Meal

I have a coworker who is helping me get to be a super Amazon cop queen. I'm not liking him much...here's the new workout...it's called the filthy 50s.

50 jumps with a jump rope
50 box jumps
50 dumbbell swings using a 25 pound weight
50 lunges
50 knee/elbows
50 push press
50 up downs
50 wall ball
50 back extensions
50 jumps with a jump rope


Here's a great quick meal. Kabobs.

You  need Kraft light balsamic vinagrette salad dressing, pepper, fresh garlic, fresh lime

Combine 2 tablespoons salad dressing, pepper to taste and a clove of fresh garlic through a press. Stir well.

Kabobs...chicken, onion, mushrooms...skewer them on your kabob. Put on grill. Brush with mixture above 3 times during the grilling process. Squeeze a little fresh lime while they are cooking. Eat! Yummy.
